Private court appearance for man accused of Hawick rape
A 50-year-old man has appeared in private at Selkirk Sheriff Court accused of raping a woman.
Scott Cameron - who gave an address in Kelso - is charged under section one of the Sexual Offences Scotland Act 2009.
The offence is alleged to have been committed in Hawick recently.
Cameron made no plea and the case was continued for further examination.
He was released on bail by Sheriff Peter Paterson.
