A GALASHIELS man has been remanded in custody at Jedburgh Sheriff Court after being charged with possession of heroin with intent to supply.
John Lauder, who is 54, was making a second private court appearance where he was also accused of possession of cannabis resin.
The offences are alleged to have been committed at his Beech Avenue home last month.
Lauder made no plea and was fully committed for trial with bail refused.
His 49-year-old wife Christine appeared last week at Selkirk Sheriff Court on similar charges and was released on bail.
