PLANS have been unveiled for extending Tweedbank's retail area.
The expanding village currently houses only a shop, restaurant and manicurist.
But Sandy and Karen Craig, who own the Hergés on the Loch bar/restaurant, want to build a further three units on neighbouring land.
Within the Planning Permission in Principle application they suggest the units, which would all be situated to the north of the current car park, could house a café, dentist's surgery and hairdresser's.
Scottish Borders Council's planning department will consider the application over the coming weeks.
