Xbox thief is jailed for seven months
A 25-year-old man who broke into a Hawick house and stole electrical equipment has been jailed for 226 days at Jedburgh Sheriff Court.
Craig Robson of Priors Court in Jedburgh, pleaded guilty to taking part in the raid on the property in Silverbuthall Road on December 12.
Depute fiscal Eilidh Robertson said neighbours heard the break-in take place and police arrived on the scene to catch Robson "red-handed" in possession of an XBox and computer games.
