20-year-old accused of assaulting his mother
A 20-year-old man from Kelso has been accused of assaulting his mother by pushing her onto a bed and placing a pillow over her face.
Jake Osborn, of Maxmill Park, denies the offence which is said to have happened at a house in Howden Road, Jedburgh, on June 18.
He also denies threatening or abusive behaviour, obstructing police and being in possession of a lock-knife.
A trial has been scheduled for Jedburgh Sheriff Court on September 4.
