Model Chloe Ayling, who hit the headlines last year when she was kidnapped in Italy, is set to open up about her ordeal after entering the Celebrity Big Brother house.

Last year Ayling, 21, was abducted after arriving at a Milan address for a modelling job and held in a farmhouse near Turin while a 300,000 euro (£265,000) ransom was demanded.

She was released six days later, on July 17, at the British consulate in Milan.

Polish national Lukasz Herba, 30, was sentenced in June to 16 years and nine months’ imprisonment after an Italian court convicted him of kidnapping Ayling.

During Friday’s episode of the reality show, Ayling will discuss how she tried to convince her captor to let her go.

She will tell US reality star Natalie Nunn: “He made it out to me it was a massive organisation and he wanted to save me but he couldn’t because there were so many people behind it.

“That was what was scaring me. I thought there was so many people behind this and I had to pay the money otherwise I’m going to die.

“I just had to think ‘what can I do to survive’ and what I had to do was make him like me so he would release me. That was my only focus, to think ‘this guy has got to like me’.

“I didn’t do anything sexual. I had to promise him things for the future and when I was doing that I saw his reaction to that was very positive, and that’s how I went to about it.”

Ayling and Nunn entered the house on Thursday and were joined by the likes of Hollywood star Kirstie Alley, soap stars Ryan Thomas and Roxanne Pallett, and TV psychic Sally Morgan.

Adult film star Stormy Daniels had been due to appear on the Chanel 5 show and ITV daytime programme Loose Women, but pulled out at the last minute.

Daniels’ lawyer cited a row with producers claiming they were pressuring her to act in a way she felt uncomfortable with.

A CBB spokesman: “We note the comments from the transmission of Loose Women on ITV earlier today.

“Stormy Daniels was booked to appear on the show several months ago and hours before the show was due to go live, informed the production team that she no longer wished to enter the house as previously agreed.

“Producers discussed a variety of options with her but were unable to agree any acceptable conditions for her entering the house.

“Our focus is now on making a brilliant series with our fantastic celebrities.”

Celebrity Big Brother continues on Channel 5 tonight at 9pm.
