TWO terrifying tales, two writers, two adaptors and two actors...
This week, two hilarious adaptations of stories by two well-known writers - will bring some comedy to the MacArts Centre stage in Galashiels.
The two supernatural shows being performed are Oh Whistle And I’ll Come to You originally by M R James, has which has been adapted by Nobby Dimon.
And Simon Corble has provided his take on a Charles Dicken’s classic The Signalman.
Directed by Vivienne Garnett, and produced by the North Country Theatre Company, the two contrasting performances are described as “one told tongue-in-cheek and one... straight down the line”.
A spokesman for the theatre group adds: “Even the most sceptical, the most rational scientific mind may have moments when something happens that seems to defy the law s of nature, when the wild landscapes of our dreams and nightmares seem to intrude on reality - when coincidence seems to be stretched to breaking point.”
Both shows take place tomorrow (Thursday, November 9) at the MacArts Centre in Galashiels.
Doors open at 7pm and the event starts at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £12, £10 and £8 for students.
