Last year we delivered over 12000 hours of training and we are always looking to identify talent within our workforce and provide the opportunities for people to build their skills and careers within our business.” Twenty-seven Farne employees gained level 2 SVQs, five level 3 and two, Vaida Petraviciute and John Mackenzie, have attained assessor level, enabling them to ensure their colleagues receive the levels of training required to meet national standards.

Linda Dickson continued: “On behalf of Farne I’d like to say a huge well done to all of those who have just received their SVQs. They work across a diverse range of areas in our business including wet fish, smoked salmon, engineering, finance, dispatch, print room, dry goods, and production and have all put in a great deal of effort to gain these awards. We are very proud of them all.”
