AFTER a drunken fall-out with his male partner, Jamie Morley then branded police officers as 'faggots and tossers' during a torrent of abuse.
The police had been called to the house he shared in Buccleuch Street, Hawick, with Craig Hush, 25, during the early hours of the morning on October 18.
After the pair were warned, the 20-year-old left the flat but soon realised he had nowhere to go and returned to the house.
Viki Welton, prosecuting, said at 4.15a.m. police received a 999 call and although they could not hear anyone speaking they heard sounds of a disturbance.
When police arrived at the flat Morley was lying on the floor pretending to sleep but trouble soon flared again.
Miss Welton said Morley was arrested after a stream of abuse towards police officers calling them baldy B******s and faggots and tossers.
The court heard that the couple were no longer in a relationships and Morley was just about to start a new job in Tenerife.
Sheriff Kevin Drummond imposed a fine of £120.
