A POPULAR salon in Earlston celebrated a special triple anniversary by handing out awards to other businesses in the region.
Last week marked the 20th anniversary since the opening of the Aquarius salon in Earlston. It is also owner Morag Sterrick's 30th year in the trade, whilst the building Aquarius operates out of turns 150 this year.
The salon hosted events all week including a Client VIP Day, a Sharp Shopkeepers, a History Day and a Class of 86 Hairdressing Reunion.
Winner of the Sharp shopkeepers was Miriam Smith who works at Enchanted clothing emporium in Melrose and runner-up Guy Frater owner of The Trophy Guy in Galashiels.
Owner Morag Sterrick told the Border Telegraph she chose Miriam and Guy because of their friendly manner and enthusiasm for their shops.
