A SHELTERED housing complex in Galashiels has been awarded an “Eat Safe” award in recognition of its extremely high standards of food hygiene - just a year after it opened its new kitchen.
The award was presented to Trust Housing Association staff at Cornmill Court by Scottish Borders Council’s Environmental Health Department.
The Eat Safe award recognises where food establishments go above and beyond current food hygiene legislation in order to provide the highest possible standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
Cornmill Court, St John Street, Galashiels, will host its annual coffee morning on Saturday, November 28, from 10am to 12noon. Everyone is welcome.
