AROUND 200 people gathered for the sixth Big Quiz in Galashiels, helping to raise £3,000 for Prostate Scotland.
It brings the total amount raised for the national charity by organiser Lucy McAneny to £35,000 through the Big Quiz and the Big and Wee Walk.
Out of 50 teams, the winners on the night in the Volunteer Hall in Galashiels were Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, followed by the Pub Landlords and Cathro's Laptop.
The Wooden Spoon went Our Drinking Team Have A Quiz Problem.
Alongside five rounds of quiz questions were fun games such as the famous paper aeroplane competition, as well as another hugely successful raffle.
The Big Quiz is held in memory of Lucy's late father Dunc Paterson.
Lucy said: "A massive thank you to everyone who came along, contributed and was involved in the sixth Big Quiz.
"It was a successful night yet again. Prostate Scotland is delighted and the money raised will make a big difference to the work they do.
"Thank you all and we look forward to the seventh Big Quiz in 2018."
Lucy is hoping to continue the fundraising efforts later this year with another Big and Wee Walk.
