THIEVES have stolen cash from a man outside a Galashiels supermarket.
The incident took place at the ATM machine outside the Asda supermarket on Currie Road at around 7.20pm on Friday night (April 20).
A man, described as being 50 to 60-years-old, withdrew money from the cash point which was then stolen out of his hands.
He went into the store to inform staff, but did not leave any personal details, and staff contacted police.
Officers are currently following a positive line of enquiry in connection with the theft, and would urge this man to contact us.
