Who will be Braw Lad and Braw Lass 2010?

THIS is your chance to realise a lifelong dream.
Applications are now sought from gentlemen and ladies wishing to be considered for the position of Braw Lad and Braw Lass at the 2010 Braw Lads' Gathering.
Anyone wishing further information and an application form should fill in the tear off slip on page 22 of the Border Telegraph this week.
The qualifications of election are that candidates must be single and never have been married; be 18 years of age at 31.01.10; been born in Galashiels or District (TD1), or had their birth registered; and /or have been resident in the TD1 area for seven years immediately prior to the application.
