Man charged with supplying alcohol to boy aged 12

A GALASHIELS man has been charged with buying alcohol in a local superstore and then supplying it to a 12-year-old boy.

Alexander Kenmuir,. 36, of Tulley Court, is accused of committing the offence under the Licensing(Scotland) Act 2005 at Tesco on February 12.

At Selkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, his lawyer requested more time to investigate the matter. Kenmuir's case was continued without plea until next month.
