STOW turned out to welcome the opening of the village's new play park at the weekend.
Local MP Michael Moore, the Secretary of State for Scotland, joined local children to cut the ribbon during the ceremony on Saturday.
The new park has been built in the grounds of Stow Primary School by Sutcliffe Play Scotland using funds from the Long Park Wind Farm Community Trust Fund and was designed to enhance play time for children aged five to 11.
Wind farm owners, EDF Energy Renewables, and Wind Prospect, were on-hand to provide guests with information about the Long Park Wind Farm.
And Stow Pipe Band, who accessed the same Community Trust Fund for new instruments and uniforms, welcomed guests with a performance of their famous music.
