LANGLEE Primary School have recently welcomed a new addition to their school grounds - with a little help from others!

Last month an outdoor classroom was delivered and built up on the edge of their woodland area.

The outdoor classroom came from Ettrick Primary School, which is now closed, and was very kindly transported across to Langlee by Keyline.

As well as transporting the classroom, Keyline have also helped the school with supplying various building materials.

The Criminal Justice team dismantled and rebuilt it for the Langlee Primary, and a volunteer who has done a considerable amount of work for the school was also involved in the project.

Langlee Primary School is an Eco School and the current Primary 6 class are working towards a John Muir Award, so the outdoor classroom is the ideal resource to help them with their learning, especially during the wetter and colder months.

This will also give the pupils at Langlee more opportunities to explore and learn about the world outside the classroom.
