A SELKIRK man was found at a house in Galashiels in circumstances that inferred he intended to commit theft - a day after being released from court for a similar offence.
Thirty-year-old Iain McCallum appeared at Duns Sheriff Court last Wednesday and pleaded guilty to the offence which happened in the Kingsknowes the previous day. He also admitted breaching a bail order.
McCallum had appeared at Selkirk Sheriff Court on the Monday and pleaded guilty to being found in a property at Chiefswood Road, Darnick, at the weekend.
Sentence was deferred until October 20 when McCallum - who has just moved to the Borders from Lanarkshire - has other matters calling.
He was placed on a curfew at his home in Bannerfield Drive, Selkirk, between the hours of 9pm and 6am.
