A HAWICK man has made a second court appearance in connection with a robbery at a Galashiels post office.
David Connolly, 30, is charged with assault to injury and robbery.
It follows an incident at the Gala Park Post Office in Balmoral Place, Galashiels, on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 2 when almost £3,000 was stolen.
Connolly made no plea or declaration during a private hearing at Selkirk Sheriff Court on Wednesday and was fully committed for trial.
He was remanded in custody until the next court date which still has to be confirmed.
