The S3 Pathways Personal Development group ran a very successful craft fair and coffee morning for all staff in the Cosmo Cafe at Galashiels Academy on Wednesday, December 10. This is an annual event, which this year was very well attended by teaching and support staff.
The staff were able to buy a range of Christmas craft items such as card holders, filled stockings, candles, bird feeders and a large range of sweet treats made by the pupils. Also on offer were a range of craft items and christmas products on stalls run by the Nurture Group and Secondary Support Centre.
The total amount raised by the S3 Pathways Group before costs was £223. Funds raised will go towards supporting projects run by the S3 Pathways Group as part of their Bronze Youth Achievement Awards. The S3 Pathways pupils wish to thank the staff for their generosity in supporting this event.
