A 28-YEAR-OLD man has been accused of entering a house uninvited and getting into bed with a sleeping woman.
Jamie Whigham is then said to have removed his and her clothing, touch her on the leg, cause her to wake, demand that she cuddle him, refuse to leave and place the woman in a state of fear and alarm.
The incident is said to have happened at a house in Galashiels on April 5.
At Selkirk Sheriff Court, Whigham, of Halliburton Place, Galashiels, pleaded not guilty to a charge of behaving in a threatening or abusive manner while on bail and breaching a Sex Offenders Order.
He also denies 10 days later stealing a key and a quantity of money from a house in Hill Street, Galashiels, and entering the house uninvited and then shouting and swearing when the occupant arrived back home, as well as stealing a bottle of beer.
A trial date was set for September 14 with an intermediate hearing on October 13.
