William Notley, from Exchange Street in Jedburgh, was last seen in the town at 10am on Saturday 31st January.
It is believed he boarded a bus to Galashiels, however the 57-year-old has not been seen or heard from since and concern is now growing for his welfare.
Anyone who can assist in locating William is asked to contact police immediately.
He is described as white in appearance 5ft 6 tall, slim build with brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, green jumper, dark blue jeans and a brown ski-style jacket with a green Beret.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We are keen to establish William's whereabouts as soon as possible and anyone who believes they have seen him since Saturday is asked to come forward.
βIn addition, we would ask William to get in touch with friends, family or police and let us know you are safe and well.β Anyone with information should contact police on 101.
