ORGANISERS of the highly successful Kelso in Bloom are making sure the town looks its best all year round - by capturing it for a calendar.
This week a few of the six local photographers involved in the scheme joined primary school pupils for an official launch.
Also taking part in the launch were Provost John Bassett and the chair of Kelso in Bloom, Betty Hodges.
For the official launch photograph on Friday, Isaac Lewis displayed January, Abigail Scott gave everyone a glimpse of February, Grace Fairbairn showed off March, Harry Fleming unveiled April, Ella Granger showcased May and Ishbel Wedd joyfully held up June.
Chloe Patterson presented July, while Alice Duffy opened up August, Maia Lewis revealed September, Abigail Hinnigan displayed October, Matty Fleming proudly presented November and Lewis Fleming opened up December.
It is hoped the calendars, which are on sale throughout the town, will raise funds for next year's gardening projects across Kelso.
