A COUNTER collection jar at a local baker’s has boosted the Melrose in Bloom’s funds by more than £200.
Customers at Dalgetty’s in the town’s High Street donated a total of £238 in loose change over the past year.
And at the weekend a cheque was handed over to volunteers from the blossoming committee.
