A MELROSE hotel has been named amongst the best in the Britain.
Burts lifted the County Dining Pub of the Year award in the 2015 Good Pub Awards.
The much loved Borders landmark is the only establishment in the whole of Scotland to be given the prestigious award which recognises their winning combination of wonderful food and welcoming Bistro Bar.
The Henderson family, who have owned and run the hotel for more than 40 years, are passionate supporters of local food and drink and menus always feature dishes made from top quality ingredients such as local game, Scotch beef and fresh local fish.
