Police Scotland are appealing for information after a car was vandalised in Peebles
POLICE Scotland are appealing for anyone with information to come forward after a car was vandalised in Peebles.
The incident is believed to have occured between 3pm on Wednesday, October 26 and 9am on Thursday, October 27.
In a statement by Police Scotland, they said: "Police in the Scottish Borders are investigating following a report of a hate crime in Peebles.
"A Nissan Qashqai was vandalised while parked in South Park West between 3pm on Wednesday 26 and 9am on Thursday 27 October.
"Anyone with information which can help is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or make an anonymous report to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
