Teenager admits bottle attack at school dance

A TEENAGER who carried out a bottle attack after a school dance is due to be sentenced next month.

Daniel Simpson, 16, of East High Street, Lauder, pleaded guilty to pushing a youth to the ground and strike him on the head with a bottle to his severe injury at the Charlesfield Industrial Estate in St Boswells on December 18.

However, at Selkirk Sheriff Court on Monday, sentenced was deferred for a social enquiry report and community service assessment until February 15.
