Bold firefighters tackle blaze

FIREFIGHTERS from more than eight stations battled round the clock in blizzard conditions for almost two days to extinguish a blaze at a farm in Peeblesshire this week.
The fire broke out in a barn at West Bold Farm near Walkerburn on Sunday around 5pm.
And cattle sheltering from the snow in a neighbouring building had to be evacuated.
Fire crews from Innerleithen and Peebles raced to the scene after the alarm was raised.
They worked through the night in sub zero temperatures to bring the blaze under control.
And the crews used water from a nearby burn to stop it spreading to other outbuildings.
They were joined by crews from Peebles, Selkirk, Dalkeith, Livingston, Liberton and Sighthill, in Edinburgh, before eventually being stood down on Tuesday morning.
However, the barn, which was used to store hay bales, was completely destroyed by the fire, although the cost of the damage is unknown.
Neighbour Keith Miller, who runs Last Century Books in Innerleithen, was one of the first on the scene and took these amazing pictures.
And he praised the firefighters for their quick response.
He said: "Without their intervention the cattle shed and other buildings in the yard would certainly have gone up."
