Lauder Co-op worker admits theft
A 42-YEAR-OLD woman has admitted stealing cash from her work in Lauder.
Angela Reid, of Millburn Park, Lauder, took £277.70 during the course of her employment at the Co-op in Edinburgh Road on or between August 7 and 16.
She pled guilty to the theft in a letter to the Justice of the Peace Court in Selkirk on Thursday.
Justice of the Peace Andrew Bramhall deferred sentence for a personal appearance until November 17.

Report commentDoesn't surprise me at all. The petrol station is a joke. The staff recruited are loud, opinionated, slow, and have no manners at all. The shop is filthy and the petrol prices are a rip-off. I'd rather risk driving my car on near empty and get to the A1 to avoid going in there.

Report commentwhat this doesn't tell is that she stole t from the customers. Scanning fags etc onto customers account, then not giving reciepts. Now she works in Spar at Earlston.

Report commentWhat a silly thing to do. However, she does not work at Spar in Earlston, and the alleged cigarette scam would be known to a few people only. How does Laudereen know and would they have the courage to day who they are ?
