If you want to see the flame pass through, here are the places, times and people to look out for.

Eddleston, 11.04am-11.13am, where it will be carried by Bruce Scott, of Earlston, and Laura Munro, Dolphinton.

Peebles, 11.15am-11.38am. Torch bearers are: Brian Davis, Scottsdale; Ellie Wilson, Edinburgh; Rick Kenney, Galashiels; Alison Binns, dalkeith; Josh Snaith, jedburgh; and Sandy Gilchrist, Peebles.

Innerleithen, 11.53am-11.59am. Torch bearers are: Fraser Cowan, Edinburgh; helen Allan, Motherwell; Janet Jack, Jedburgh.

Walkerburn, 12.02pm-12.13pm. Torch bearers are: Andrew Christie, Edinburgh; Toby Harris, Edinburgh; Keith Bradley, Irvine.

Selkirk, 12.34pm-1.07pm. Torch bearers are: Babs Young, Berwick; Callum Dickson, Jedburgh; Pauline Charles, Tweedbank; Derek Fraser, melrose; John Steede, Jedburgh; Libby Kennedy, Newcastleton; Lisa Robertson, Galashiels; Murray Wright, Tampa, US; Sean Walls, East Kilbride.

Galashiels, Tweed Road, 1.16pm-1.26pm. Torch bearer Shell Smith, from Tweedbank.

Earlston, 2.26pm-2.39pm. Torch bearer Brian Christer, Penicuik.

The torch then heads across to Berwickshire, calling at Greenlaw, Duns, Chirnside and Foulden before crossing the border into Berwick, down the coast to Bamburgh and ending the day at Alnwick.
