Boswells butchers serves up a treat
A BLOODY treat is in store for visitors to a butchers in the Borders this Halloween.
Craig Douglas, of award-winning John C Douglas, Main Street, St Boswells, has created a special toffee apple pork burger to celebrate the festivities.
He won gold for his design at the Scottish Craft Butchers awards and was presented with his prize from John Gallagher of the event sponsors McDonnells in Cafraemill this month.
Meanwhile, Hawick butchers Robert Pringle were crowned 2012 South East Scotland Champions at the recent Sliced Sausage competition.
