Car owners see red as vehicles are sprayed green and white

VANDALS armed with spray paint caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage after going on a wrecking spree in Hawick.

Ten cars, fences and walls were targeted in the Burnhead Road, Eildon Road and Ruberslaw Road areas during the early hours of yesterday (Tuesday) morning.

They were sprayed with green and white paint. Police have appealed for information.
