Stolen mountain bike from Glentress worth thousands

POLICE in the Borders are appealing for information following the theft of a mountain bike worth thousands of pounds at Glentress, near Peebles.

The turquoise Yeti SB66 was taken from outside the Alpine Bike shop at Glentress near Peebles some time between Sunday January 13 and Friday, January 18.

The bike has been as very rare with an estimated value of more than £4,000.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have information in relation to this theft or as to the whereabouts of the bike. If you have any information please contact Lothian and Borders Police on 0131 311 3131 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 55111.
