DAVID Mundell MP claimed £159.44 for heating his second home as part of his parliamentary expenses in 2012/13.

The Conservative member for Dumfriesshire, Clydesdale and Tweeddale was one of 341 MPs - exposed in a Sunday newspaper investigation - who claimed a total of £200,000 for their heating bills in the year to March 31.

The other 309 MPs, including Lib Dem Michael Moore (Berwickshire, Roxburgh and Selkirk), made no such claim.

The highest claiming MP was millionaire Tory Nadham Zahawi (Stratford-upon-Avon) who claimed nearly £6,000 for heating his £1million constituency home.
