THE new head team at Earlston High has been unveiled as the schools returned following the summer holidays.
Head Boy Calum McDonald and Head Girl Rachel Magowan will be supported by Depute Head Boy Joseph Flynn and Depute Head Girl Rhona Callow.
Their first task was to welcome the almost 200 new first years to Earlston High on Tuesday.
Along with the House Captains, the seniors checked everyone was in the correct class and helped them with the tricky task of sorting out their Young Scot cards so they were all set to buy a snack at break time using the cashless catering system.
For the first years, and indeed everyone, this term is quite different from previous years as the school moves to the asymmetric week.
