THERE'S every chance a country boy called Jack will swap the farm cow for a few magic beans tonight in Selkirk.
What happens next is anyone's guess.
The Association of Selkirk Clubs and Societies have turned their attention to the panto favourite Jack and the Beanstalk.
But, going by previous years, the beanstalk could take them anywhere.
The biennial outing of this madcap cast and crew always provides plenty of festive cheer and hilarity.
Going by this year's dress rehearsals, audiences are in for yet another treat.
Tonight's (Monday's) opening performance at the Victoria Hall starts at 7.15pm - with tickets still available on the door.
Tickets are also available for tomorrow's 2pm matinee and the evening performance at 7.15pm.
Graham Coulson, who is one of the two dames, told us: "We have a cast of 50 this year and every one of them has done brilliantly.
"We are all having fun on the stage and I'm sure it will come across the audience."
