TELEVISION presenter Fiona Bruce wrapped herself in a tartan woven at a local mill for the front cover of the latest Radio Times magazine.
She posed for the picture to promote a new series of Who Do You Think You Are? which starts on BBC1 next week.
The journalist, who has fronted shows such as Crimewatch, the Antiques Roadshow and News at Ten, had a skirt made out of the Bruce tartan at Locharron of Scotland in Selkirk.
However, as she got to grips with her ancestry, she revealed she wasn"t too keen on the colour of the family cloth.
In an interview published in the Radio Times this week, Fiona said: 'I"m not sure they"re my colours, really.'
The television presenter is just the latest in a series of celebrities, including BBC news reader Jackie Bird, and the Queen, to be pictured with a tartan woven in the Borders.
And mill managers are hoping it will boost business in the struggling textile trade and visitors to the Selkirk tourist attraction.
Locharron of Scotland brand manager Hilary Buchan told the Border Telegraph: 'It"s really nice for everyone connected to the mill to see their work in the public eye. She (Fiona Bruce) did say she didn"t like it but it makes a statement.'
And she added: 'We are hopeful of hanging her picture on a celebrity wall in our visitor centre and that other customers may pop in to try on their family tartan.'
Who Do You Think You Are?, featuring Fiona Bruce, will be screened on BBC1 on February 9 at 9pm.
