Emergency services and a bomb disposal squad have rushed to the scenes of two 'ongoing incidents' in East Kilbride and Blantyre.
Nine police cars, an ambulance and a helicopter were all dispatched to an area near John Wright Sports centre tonight.

Shortly after a bomb disposal team rushed to a property just miles away in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire.
Emergency services are currently on the scene at a property in Kirkton Avenue.

Part of the road remains closed off as emergency services remain in attendance.
Residents have shared information about police activity on Twitter as both incidents unfold.
Police confirmed each incident is 'ongoing'.
