SIR, I am disgusted to learn that Scottish Borders Council sent 16 councillors to look at a new waste plant in Bristol.
This jaunt will have cost you and I, the taxpayer, a bonnie penny. I intend to find out just how much through Freedom of Information and I will let the tax payers know the cost.
