Opeta Palepoi will assist Dalgleish.
GALA have named Chris Dalgleish as the interim replacement for departed coach George Graham.
The club's former winger was already part of the Maroons' coaching set up under Graham.
For the remainder of this season Dalgleish will act as the backs and sevens coach with Ewan Johnstone and Opeta Palepoi taking the forwards.
In a statement released from the club, President Graham Low said: "There will be no further comment on the coaching set up as we now look to take the team forward into the relegation play off and the two remaining Border League fixtures."
Andy Mclean will coach Gala A for their Border Cup final.
