A GRAND total of £600 was raised last week at Torwoodlee's first Charity Texas Scramble.
The competition was sponsored by J&E Shepherd Chartered Surveyors.
The chosen charity, The Rowan Boland Trust, received a cheque for £600.
Next weekend - Saturday, July 30 - is the Cabletec Torwoodlee Open.
This year's first prize in both Scratch and Handicap will be £200 along with other valuable prizes.
