GALA Fairydean Rovers FC have received a major boost on the eve of their 2016-17 Lowland League campaign after go-ahead local firm Five Star Taxis (Scotland) Ltd extended their sponsorship deal for the next three seasons.

The announcement was made at Friday night's friendly match against Hibernian at the 3G Arena.

Brian McLaren, director of Five Star Taxis (Scotland) Ltd, said: "I am thrilled that our role as main sponsor of Gala Fairydean Rovers has been extended for a further three seasons.

"Five Star Taxis and Gala Fairydean Rovers have built up a terrific relationship over the previous three seasons of pour sponsorship and we are delighted to be given the opportunity to continue this partnership.
