BORDERS athletes Libby Clegg and Samantha Kinghorn have both been in action in the first rounds of their events at the Paralympics.
Clegg, of Newcastleton, was joint winner with China’s Zhou Guohua in their T11 100m heat, clocking 12.17, and will now compete in the semi-finals, which are set to take place this afternoon.
Meanwhile Kinghorn, of Gordon, finished fifth in the final of the T11 100 metres last night.
She will return to action in the heats of the 400m tomorrow.
