SELKIRK match secretary Sheree Davison has become the first woman to be honoured with a Life Membership by the Yarrow Park club.
The school caterer has been involved with the Lowland League club for over 20 years.
As well as holding down several different committee posts over the years, Sheree has also coached junior age-group players.
And she remains the popular caterer during matchdays.
Sheree told us: "It was a surprise to be given a Life Membership of the club.
"We have had our ups and downs at Selkirk over the years but it's a great little club and I'm pleased to be part of it."
Chairman Ross Anderson made the surprise announcements at last week's AGM.
And he also presented a Life Membership award to the club's groundsman Barry Pettie.
Barry, who played for Selkirk in his younger years, has also been involved in several different roles over the decades.
Most recently, since Selkirk relocated to Yarrow Park, he has overseen the pitch and grounds maintenance.
A smiling Barry told us: "You don't expect to get something like a Life Membership, so it was an honour.
"It won't change anything, though, I'll still be down here next week cutting the grass."
