The presentations were followed by the AGM at which President Dr Maung Aye welcomed everybody and presented his report of the year past.

He said that the major achievement had been the redevelopment, refurbishment and extension of our clubhouse.

This development had been much appreciated by the membership and the community. He reported that membership numbers remained stable with many new junior members who took part in a wide coaching programme.

The club entered and participated in Tennis Border Leagues: ladies, men's, mixed and junior.

He was pleased to note how many people were taking part in club nights and mornings with often full courts on three nights and four mornings each week.

The annual social quiz evening and annual Christmas Draw had both been successful.

An added event this year was the hosting of the Senior Borders Confined Tornament in August.

Dr Aye closed his remarks by thanking his hard working committee and also all members with the wish that next season will be equally successful
