ONE of Scotland's leading youth coaches has been charged with keeping Selkirk in the Lowland League.
Ian Fergus, who is currently head coach of Hibs Under 17s, is understood to be Garry O'Connor's replacement at Yarrow Park.
Meetings took place today with the UEFA A Licensed coach in Edinburgh.
And players were told of the decision at training tonight.
No official statement has yet been released from Selkirk.
Fergus has previously worked at youth academies with Hamilton, Hearts and Dunfermline.
Following Selkirk's defeat to Spartans on Saturday they sit bottom of the Lowland League.
