FORMER Rangers star Robbie Crawford grabbed a double as East Kilbride extended their lead at the top of the Lowland League to nine points.
Sean Winter was the other scorer as the Lanarkshire outfit defeated Gretna 3-0.
Second placed East Stirlingshire lost ground after being held by the students of Edinburgh University.
Shire took the lead through a Connor Greene header but Uni striker Jack Guthrie levelled for a 1-1 draw.
Meanwhile, there was a dramatic finish in the Borders derby as Gala Fairydean Rovers scored twice in injury time to beat Vale of Leithen 3-2.
Craig McBride and Andy Martin had Vale leading 2-1 but in the dying stages of the game Darren Smith and Des Sutherland snatched the points for Gala.
Gala manager Steven Noble said: "We kept working hard and got the breaks we deserved.
"It was a big win for us on a heavy pitch."
A Scott Gormley double helped Whitehill Welfare to a 2-0 win at Civil Service Strollers.
Hawick Royal Albert defeated Borders rivals Selkirk 3-0 at Yarrow Park.
Sean Conaghan, Jon McInally and Josh Morris were all on target for Dean Shanks' team.
Selkirk boss Ian Fergus admitted his team were second best,. He said: "I thought our player was fouled in the lead up to their opener and we had a good goal disallowed but Hawick were still the better team on the day and they deserved the points."
Cumbernauld Colts also recorded a 3-0 victory as they beat Dalbeattie Star.
BSC Glasgow won 4-1 against Stirling University.
Preston Athletic remain bottom after losing 2-0 at home to Spartans.
