GFR Under 15s 3
Currie U15s 2
GALA Fairydean Rovers picked up the points on Sunday following a thrilling Division 2 tussle with Currie.
The home side played the better football against a defensive team from the capital.
Following a tight first half Gala's attacking play after the interval secured victory.
Danny Hollywood netted twice for the Fairydean Rovers with Lewis Smith also converting his chance.
There was a moment of controversy as defender Chris Miller cleared from goal-line with a good half metre to spare.
But the poorly positioned official awarded the goal for Currie.
In the end the decision didn't matter.
