VALE of Leithen will play Celtic in friendly match at Victoria Park next week.
Brendan Rodgers' side will travel to Innerleithen on Friday, August 10 for a 7pm kick off.
Vale boss Chris Anderson told us: "This provides a real opportunity for the boys.
"We have strengthened our squad for this season, bringing in eight new players so far with the possibility of one or two more.
"I hope as many local people as possible come and support the team both in this game and other.
"Having a strong home support really gives the team a boost."

Admission will be £10 for adults; £5 for over 65s and under16s. Under 12s go free.
And there will be a chance to buy raffle tickets to win a signed Frank McAvennie Celtic shirt on the day.
Before the game a local children's match will also take place from 5pm.
The Vale have also launched a season ticket this year, which includes entry to all home league and cup games, including the Celtic game.
They can be bought online or at any home game, costing £60 for adults, £40 for over 65s, while under 16s are free (under 16 season tickets exclude Celtic game).
