UNPREDICTABLE weather has been blamed for the cancellation of one of the Borders biggest football tournaments for the second time in as many weeks.

The Stow Carlsberg Soccer Sevens was due to be played on Sunday after being rained off the previous weekend.

However, with more wet weather forecast, organisers decided to rearrange the annual cup competition until September 14.
